Care Tech- Telemetry I- Unit 3200 (PRN: Days) Locations Alabama, 1000 Cody Rd S, Mobile, AL 36695, USA Pre-Employment Requirements Passing a pre‑employment drug screening is required. Education Requirements Validation of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Certification Requirements (Must be certified in Alabama) CNA Medical Assistant and will be taught bedside care is considered. Paramedic/EMT experience with bedside care teaching is considered. Care technician applicant with at least 3 years of recent patient care experience is considered. BLS completion within 90 days of hire; if enrolled in a nursing program, completion of Fundamentals of Nursing is a requirement. Responsibilities Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of Nurse Managers, RNs and LPNs. Provides for personal care, comfort and assures patient safety. Must be dependable, hardworking, and a team player with a good attitude and professional behavior. Applicants will be responsible for vital signs, assisting nursing personnel, and helping patients with basic daily needs. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently. Other duties as assigned.
