Job description: DescriptionNO CONSULTANTS OR CONTRACTORS NEED TO APPLY (Only FTE Employees)This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office/2 days remote).About your team:Our Client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join a small, high-impact team responsible for the development and maintenance of CoChMA (Client-risk Operations and Control Hub for Monitoring Applications), our integrated client services risk management platform, along with various other internal risk and margin systems. These tools are mission-critical, actively utilized by the Client Risk Management (CR) team to monitor and mitigate client-facing risk exposure across our global operations.The ideal candidate is a technically strong, self-motivated developer who thrives in a fast-paced financial environment and takes ownership of the systems they build consistent with our culture of curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and personal accountability.What will be your responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain server-side application components using Java and the Vert.x frameworkBuild and enhance front-end interfaces using Vue.js, HTML, and CSSWrite and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support margin rate governance system, risk and margin reportingParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenanceMonitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues in production environmentsContribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and team knowledge sharingWork independently and take full ownership of assigned modules and features, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveryContinuously improve existing systems through refactoring, performance tuning, and adoption of best practicesHave a desire to learn about and understand financial instruments and concepts..
