Certified Nursing Assistant 2PM-10PM
Job Summary:
At Mesquite Village Wellness & Rehabilitation , we're dedicated to providing the best care for our patients, and we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) , you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of our experienced healthcare team. Your duties will include:
• Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting changes to the nursing staff
• Providing emotional support and companionship to our patients and their families
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and staff
Responsibilities:
• Provide basic care and hygiene to patients, including feeding, toileting, and bathing
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Assist with transferring patients to and from bed, wheelchair, or other equipment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
