Qualify and dual‑source across every critical equipment category, with lead‑time and capacity thresholds tied directly to the forward build pipeline. Role Scope Own the electrical category: switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and busway, the longest lead times in the build. Negotiate capacity reservations with electrical OEMs years ahead, converting reservations to orders as the pipeline firms. Dual‑source major equipment classes across OEMs whose products are not interchangeable, managing the design implications with engineering. Track factory slots and production milestones supplier by supplier, because a slipped transformer is a slipped data hall. What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. You've reserved factory capacity ahead of firm designs and managed the commercial risk that creates. You know the current lead-time reality of the electrical market by product class, not by rumor. You've expedited equipment through a factory by knowing whom to call and what to trade. Bonus: MV/HV equipment. Utility‑scale generation. OFCI programs. Factory witness testing.
