Location: Must be willing and able to be based in NYC, NY (Requires 3 days per week onsite) OR Dallas, TX (Requires 4 days per week onsite) A Taste of What You’ll Do As an Associate Growth Media Innovation Manager at GALLO, you will drive the future of performance media by developing innovative strategies that strengthen consumer discovery, accelerate business growth, and improve marketing effectiveness. In this highly collaborative role, you will connect brand, media, analytics, commerce, and agency teams to uncover emerging opportunities across AI-driven discovery, paid search, paid social, retail media, and third-party marketplaces. You will lead the hands‑on development, activation, management, and optimization of performance media campaigns across Paid Search and 3rd Party Marketplace/Retail Media for an assigned portfolio of brands. Using campaign insights, consumer behavior, and business priorities, you will guide audience and keyword strategies, budget allocation, bidding, targeting, creative recommendations, testing, and ongoing performance improvements. You will also help shape how consumers discover and choose brands across traditional and emerging platforms. Partnering with SEO, content, brand, commerce, integrated media, and agency teams, you will translate evolving discovery behaviors into actionable media strategies that connect short‑term performance with long‑term brand growth. As a champion of experimentation, you will build innovation roadmaps, design structured testing frameworks, evaluate new technologies and platform capabilities, and turn learnings into scalable recommendations. Your thought leadership will advance the Media Center of Excellence, establish best practices, strengthen internal education, and foster a culture of continuous learning, ownership, and innovation. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of performance media experience to include paid search, social, retail media, or 3rd party marketplace planning and buying, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master's degree plus 3 years of performance media experience to include paid search, social, retail media, or 3rd party marketplace planning and buying reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Strong understanding of all aspects of digital marketing, e-comm, and analytics. Proficient with PPC/retail media tools and hands‑on operational experience in ad platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Instacart, DoorDash, Pacvue, etc.) Strong Understanding on bidding strategies, targeting capabilities, audience segmentation, and campaign structure on multiple platforms Experience managing budgets and KPIs, across multiple channels, and adjusting spend to meet performance goals Proven experience in effectively managing retail media and paid search campaigns. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of media, marketers, and analytics. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret media data to drive business decisions. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, basic formulas). Strong presentation skills and executive presence to garner support from marketing teams/leadership and persuade them on media recommendations. Significant organizational skills to work effectively in a fast paced, high campaign volume environment demanding quick responses. Strong work ethic with capacity and ability to operate independently and collaboratively in teams with high attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple products or services concurrently under time constraints. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. How You’ll Stand Out Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications plus 5 years of experience in performance marketing, media strategy, growth marketing, or digital commerce; OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing Analytics, Communications plus 8 years of experience in performance marketing, media strategy, growth marketing, or digital commerce reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Experience developing media, growth, or marketing strategies that extend beyond channel execution and influence broader business, brand, or commercial objectives. Demonstrated success designing and leading test‑and‑learn programs, innovation initiatives, or experimentation frameworks that informed future marketing investments and capabilities. Strong understanding of evolving consumer discovery behaviors, including search evolution, retail media, AI‑driven experiences, and emerging digital ecosystems. Experience partnering across brand marketing, integrated media, commerce, analytics, and agency teams to develop unified marketing strategies and influence investment decisions. Familiarity with media measurement methodologies such as incrementality testing, attribution, marketing mix modeling (MMM), attention metrics, or other media effectiveness frameworks. Experience within CPG, beverage alcohol, retail, eCommerce, or other consumer-focused industries. We offer a broad salary range to allow for long‑term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case‑by‑case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
