Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Occupational Therapy Assistant supporting students from kindergarten through high school. Located close to White City, OR, this opening offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a diverse K-12 caseload. The assignment begins immediately and extends until June 17, 2027, providing stability and the chance to truly connect with students and staff.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, valid Oregon Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
• Experience working with students in a school setting is highly valued
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt OT interventions for varying developmental stages (K-12)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and best practices
• Assess student needs and contribute to the development of individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with licensed OTs, teachers, and other educational staff
• Provide both direct and consultative services to support student participation in academic and daily activities
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt sessions to meet the needs of a wide age range and ability levels
