Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures, including patient positioning, protocol selection, and parameter adjustments to ensure diagnostic-quality images while prioritizing patient safety.
- Operate CT equipment, monitor technical quality, and optimize scanning techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
- Verify patient identity and orders; communicate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure appropriate imaging sequences.
- Maintain accurate image labeling, documentation, and archiving in the patient record systems.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards; provide patient comfort and clear explanations during the exam.
- Collaborate with the care team to support timely diagnostic information and contribute to the overall patient experience.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license valid in Vermont (or equivalent per state requirements)
- Certification in radiography with CT experience or CT certification (or eligibility) as applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to perform CT imaging and operate a CT scanner in a hospital setting
- Flexibility to work a set schedule that includes weekend days and a Monday night shift
- Strong communication and patient care skills; ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
