Skilled Trades Partners is currently seeking an experienced Construction Safety Professional for a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity in Newington, CT. Position Details Location: Newington, CT Pay: $40-$50/hour , depending on experience Employment Type: Long-term Temp-to-Hire Experience Required: 5+ years of construction safety experience Certification Required: OSHA 30 Job Responsibilities Oversee and promote safe work practices on the construction site Ensure onsite compliance with OSHA and applicable safety regulations Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards Communicate safety requirements and procedures to field personnel Help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive jobsite Address safety concerns and assist with corrective actions as needed Support the project team in maintaining all required safety standards and documentation Qualifications 5+ years of construction safety experience required OSHA 30 certification required Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices Ability to identify hazards and proactively address safety concerns Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with contractors, tradespeople, supervisors, and project management Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safety professional looking for long-term work with the potential for permanent placement .
