Make a positive impact in education as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in 3rd through 5th grade. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Mild/Moderate DESE Special Education Teacher license required
- Previous experience teaching special education in a school setting
- Strong background in delivering small group instruction for Reading, Math, and Phonics
- Familiarity with IEP goals and progress monitoring for students with learning differences
- Expertise in strategies for supporting students with Dyslexia, ADHD, and SLD in both reading and mathematics
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging small group lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Implement evidence-based strategies to boost reading, math, and phonics skills
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective inclusion and accommodations
- Manage and document student progress, adapting instruction to maximize growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insightful feedback to inform individualized education plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom climate where every learner feels valued
