Concrete Laborer/General Laborer (LOS ANGELES, CA)

Chris Kelley, Inc. DBA Childs Play. Looking for experienced concrete laborer/general laborer to join our team. Please only apply if you have a minimum of 7 years concrete experience. Reliable transportation and basic tools are required. Must be a team player who works efficiently and effectively. For over 25 years, Childs Play has been a construction company specializing in parks and recreation. Installing playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, skateparks, urban landscape, and much more. We are a family first, and work smart team. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in building and posting forms for pouring concrete and dismantles forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware. Pour or place concrete. Install rebar, expansion joints, or carbon fiber. Apply finishing coat. Follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment. Clean up worksite during and when the project is complete. Assist with general laborer duties as needed. Prevailing Wage projects. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate 7+ years of concrete or skilled labor experience preferred Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials Must be able to lift (minimum 50 lbs) Reliable transportation Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials Ability to measure accurately and read specifications Only serious and qualified candidates need apply.
