Job Summary The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Schedule Monday‑Friday work schedule. No call required. No nights, no weekends, no holiday work hours. Hourly Range $28.00 – $43.00 per hour, depending on experience. Required Skills & Experience High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program; certification preferred. 2+ years experience as a scrub tech in multiple specialties or equivalent education and experience. Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. General familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room. BLS accredited by AHA.
