Crossing Guard Team Leader

Crossing Guard Team Leader Primary Purpose Assist with the daily operation of school crossing guards and oversee training and placement. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD. Qualifications Education/Certification/Licensure None specified Dependable transportation Special Knowledge/Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of or ability to learn district policy and regulations related to safety Demonstrated willingness to work with children Willingness to work outdoors on every school day Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds Experience None specified Major Responsibilities and Duties Perform surveys regarding requests for new locations to determine the need for new locations and justify the present locations. Assist the crossing guard supervisor in observing the daily operation of the crossing guard program. Distribute uniforms and safety equipment to the school crossing guards. Provide written or oral reports as required. Provide attendance verification for the supervisor to determine accurate payroll reporting for the crossing guards. Adhere to district as well as departmental policies and dress code. Substitute for absent crossing guards as needed. Perform all tasks required to ensure safety of all the students of the district.
