Residential HVAC Service Tech - Experienced

$30-$42/hr Depending on Experience + SPIFFs + Take-Home Truck

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, AC systems, and air handlers
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and control issues
• Read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
• Provide homeowners with clear explanations and repair recommendations
• Complete accurate service documentation and job notes
• Maintain clean, organized company vehicles and work areas
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, install teams, and management to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• EPA Certification required (Universal preferred)
• Ability to independently diagnose system issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycle, airflow, and controls
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented mindset
• Pride in workmanship and doing quality work the first time
