We are seeking a  Part-Time Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. This position is primarily responsible for preparing and cooking menu items while also being cross-trained as a Prep Cook and Dishwasher to support overall kitchen operations. Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
• Prepare food efficiently while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
• Monitor food quality and proper holding temperatures.
• Restock ingredients throughout service.
• Assist with line cleanup and end-of-shift breakdown.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Always strive to exceed guest expectations.
• Follow direction from management and assist wherever needed.
• Always do Epic Work!

Prep Cook (Cross-Trained)

• Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, labeling, and stocking products.
• Complete daily prep lists according to restaurant standards.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas.
• Assist the line during busy service periods.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

Dishwasher (Cross-Trained)

• Set up, operate, and maintain the dish washing station.
• Sort, rinse, wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Wash kitchen equipment by hand when necessary.
• Change dish machine water and maintain equipment throughout the shift.
• Remove trash and recycling.
• Keep kitchen floors clean, dry, and safe.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing duties.
• Support the kitchen team wherever needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Prep cook and/or dish washing experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team player willing to assist in all back-of-house areas.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Food Handler Card required in accordance with state and local regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Work safely around hot cooking equipment, cleaning chemicals, wet floors, and sharp kitchen tools.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Working Conditions

This position works in a fast-paced commercial kitchen where teamwork is essential. Team members regularly work around hot cooking equipment, dish machines, cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, and occasionally slippery floors. Non-slip shoes are required. During peak business hours, maintaining urgency, communication, and attention to detail is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
