HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE DOCK FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST IN JOLIET, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Dock Fulfillment Specialist to join our team in Joliet, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for retrieving inventory and packing the merchandise for shipment. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $21/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Full time schedule
• Located in Joliet, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
• Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
• Receive inventory and check the merchandise’s quality and accuracy.
• Efficiently wrap and pack merchandise with packing slip or order details for each shipment, while maintaining a quick and steady pace and not compromising accuracy.
• Have all merchandise prepared accurately and ready for shipping on time.
• Periodically use computers, email, scanners, and the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory, create paperwork, or document reporting.
• Support and promote company core values.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
• Ability to write routine and general business correspondence.
• Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
• Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.
• Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
• Good judgment; knows when to escalate issues and when to try to resolve them.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, as well as Internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications, such as the WMS.
• Ability to type and update computer systems quickly and accurately.
• Proven competence to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of an organization.
• A team player with a high level of energy and self-motivation.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
• Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high-stress environment.
• Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
