This is a Houston, TX based contract role with an anticipated 12-month duration with an estimated start date of August 17th. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.Position OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to support Trading & Supply technology initiatives. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions that improve business processes and deliver measurable value.The ideal candidate has deep experience supporting commodity trading organizations and hands-on expertise with the Endur platform. This individual will work across multiple business and technology teams, driving requirements, solution design, testing, and implementation while helping modernize critical business capabilities.ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.Gather, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Evaluate solution options by assessing business value, feasibility, risks, and impacts.Develop and maintain detailed business requirements and process documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure requirements remain traceable through design, development, testing, and implementation.Collaborate closely with developers, software vendors, architects, and project teams to deliver successful solutions.Support software configuration, testing coordination, and solution validation.Lead business analysis activities across multiple technology initiatives while balancing project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.Participate in Agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.Required Qualifications10+ years of corporate IT experience.Minimum 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.Strong experience supporting Trading & Supply organizations.Extensive hands-on experience with the Endur platform.Experience with one or more of the following: CmotionDeal Capture (Front Office)Settlements & Accounting (Back Office)TaxStrong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.Experience working in Agile environments.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.Additional InformationHybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite at One Thousand Main in downtown Houston.Contract-to-hire opportunity.U.S. work authorization required without current or future sponsorship.Please Note: The ECI Group uses AI-assisted tools in the early stages of application review, with all decisions guided by human oversight and fully compliant with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ECI Group's applicable data protection policies and Privacy Notice.
