Innocademy Allegan Campus, a small Y5 through 8th-grade school in Fennville, MI, is seeking a caring, flexible, and collaborative teacher to lead a self-contained 3rd grade classroom.

The teacher will build meaningful relationships with students and families, create engaging learning experiences, and support student growth through responsive instruction, consistency, and care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas for elementary students
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports both academic and social-emotional growth
• Differentiate instruction to meet a range of student learning needs
• Use assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom updates
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and schoolwide goals
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other assigned duties
• Maintain accurate student records and meet instructional and reporting expectations

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement
• Ability to teach in a self-contained elementary classroom
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Experience with differentiated instruction preferred
• Experience in a small school or flexible learning environment preferred

Salary

• BA Step 0 - $50,000.00
• Additional compensation is available based on verified years of relevant experience.
