8+ years of heavy hands-on Oracle OTM development experience including custom agents, workflows, integrations (REST/EDI/XML), strong SQL, and deep transportation/logistics domain knowledge.

Summary


We are seeking a Senior Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Developer / Architect with heavy hands-on OTM development experience to design, develop, and implement advanced transportation and logistics solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle OTM , strong functional understanding of logistics processes, and the ability to collaborate closely with business, operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions to support complex logistics and transportation operations
• Lead hands-on OTM development , including:
  
  
  • Custom agents and automation
  • OTM workflows and business rules
  • Screen sets and user-defined logic
• Collaborate with business and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical OTM solutions
• Configure and customize OTM modules related to:
  
  
  • Shipment planning and execution
  • Rate management
  • Order management
  • Carrier integration
• Develop and support OTM integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, XML, and file-based interfaces
• Troubleshoot performance issues, production defects, and system integrations
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and adherence to best practices
• Support testing, deployment, and documentation activities
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior OTM resources as needed

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle OTM experience with a strong emphasis on custom development
• Proven hands-on expertise in:
  
  
  • OTM technical components (agents, workflows, automation)
  • SQL and database concepts
  • OTM data model
• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics business processes
• Experience working as a Technical-Functional Analyst or Developer/Architect
• Experience integrating OTM with enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, carriers)
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
