Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)

Job Description Charcuterie and Chats, LLC is seeking experienced California Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists (Generalist I & II) to support a statewide regulatory laboratory oversight program . This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment supporting laboratory compliance, inspections, quality assurance, and public health initiatives throughout California. Locations Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $50.00–$58.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. Position Summary Clinical Laboratory Scientists will perform laboratory inspection, compliance, and quality assurance activities for licensed clinical laboratories and physician office laboratories. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, reviewing laboratory operations, evaluating regulatory compliance, preparing technical reports, and providing consultation on laboratory standards. Travel throughout California, including occasional overnight travel, is required. Responsibilities Conduct onsite laboratory inspections and compliance reviews. Perform complaint investigations and follow-up inspections. Review laboratory policies, procedures, and quality systems. Prepare inspection reports and corrective action documentation. Conduct exit interviews and communicate inspection findings. Provide technical guidance on laboratory regulations and compliance. Maintain accurate records and electronic documentation. Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities. Collaborate with laboratory professionals and internal leadership. Travel throughout California as required. Minimum Qualifications Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist) License Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline Minimum three (3) years of experience in clinical or public health laboratory sciences, laboratory supervision, technical specialty areas, or laboratory regulatory compliance Working knowledge of CLIA and California laboratory regulations Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills Ability to travel throughout California Preferred Qualifications Laboratory inspection or accreditation experience Public health laboratory experience Experience interpreting laboratory regulations Excellent technical writing and communication Company Description Charcuterie and Chats, LLC, formerly operating as EverythingWellness LLC, is a California-based professional services company specializing in healthcare staffing, workforce management, regulatory support, and government contracting.
