Visual Designer for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve AI training by writing, reviewing, and validating prompt-based questions grounded in real-world graphic and UI design practice. This role focuses on high-quality visual design, including graphic design or UI work, and helps AI understand and simulate multimodal design workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and validate prompt-based training questions and responses.
• Apply visual design expertise to ensure materials reflect practical design processes.
• Help shape AI understanding of graphic and UI design workflows.

Qualifications

• More than 1 year of experience in graphic design or UI design.
• Bachelor''s degree in design or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating distinctive, high-quality visual work, such as websites, applications, brand assets, or marketing materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and close attention to detail.
• Exposure to LLMs and generative AI prompting.
• This is not a UX design role. Applicants must have strong visual design skills and a portfolio to share.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly engagement.
• Flexible workload of 10 to 20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
• Expected to begin in early to mid-August. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Compensation

$50 to $80 per hour.

Eligibility

• Must currently be based in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or Australia.

Interview Process

• Complete an AI interview covering your creative workflows, user experience planning, and systems design thinking.
• Use a desktop or laptop, not a mobile phone, and be prepared to share your screen for an approximately 25-minute task.
• Before starting, ensure your browser has screen-sharing permission enabled.
• Walk through a design that demonstrates your design fundamentals and aesthetic, then provide your portfolio after the interview.
• Selection is based on AI interview performance and portfolio quality.
