Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

An excellent opportunity is available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RN-BSNs) supporting student health services across a large school district in the Tampa, Florida area. This role is available for both the current and upcoming school year and involves providing general health room support as well as potential 1:1 student care. Nurses must be flexible and willing to float between sites as needed. The position supports a wide range of student needs across multiple grade levels and offers a dynamic, team-oriented environment focused on student safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida LPN
• Experience working in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred for select openings
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to student health needs
• Ability to adapt to varying schedules and floating assignments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students in a school health room setting
• Support general health needs including medication administration, first aid, and health monitoring
• Assist with 1:1 student care when assigned
• Collaborate with school staff to support student health and safety
• Float between school sites as needed based on district needs
• Maintain accurate and compliant health documentation
• Respond to emergencies and follow district health protocols
