Electro-Mechanical Assembler

About this position

SeeScan is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our camera assembly team.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Compensation

This position pays $20/hour or more , depending on qualifications.

We are looking for a long-term, in-house team member to join us, not a contractor or consultant.

In this position, you will

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components using small- and large-scale tools such as tweezers, pliers, and torque wrenches
• Work with a microscope to inspect parts for debris and for assemblage of precision-critical parts
• Solder parts and assemblies as required
• Work within a team to assemble smaller components as part of a larger assembly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Perform in-process quality checks on assembly
• Perform rework and repairs as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including maintenance of work area and equipment

Background and experience

• Experience assembling electronic, structural, and mechanical subassemblies in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with basic hand tools (manual and powered)
• Knowledge of QA protocols for assembly workers
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Able to read a Bill of Materials and identify required parts

• Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse environment with background noise, safety process requirements, and dynamic communication
• Excellent attention to detail when working with small and precise components
• Patient and methodical approach to repetitive close-tolerance assembly work
