Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a Cardiology clinic setting, requiring 1+ year of clinic experience and cardiology experience.

Details

• Work in the Heart and Vascular Institute clinic setting
• Patient population includes General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Surgery cases
• Clinic sees up to 22 patients per day
• Scheduled for 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• No weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• May float only within the Cardiology clinic
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Current LPN license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required
• Cardiology experience required
• Epic charting system experience required

Additional Information

• Support team includes an EKG tech, three Clinical Assistants (1 per 10 rooms), a Lead RN, and a Nursing Manager (RN)
• Orientation includes facility protocol training plus 3-4 days on the unit alongside a nurse
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 4 designated holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Free parking provided
• First-time travelers considered if they have clinic experience of any kind
• Travelers must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• Permanent staff must wait one full year before returning as a traveler
