Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Willoughby, OH | Onsite

Pay Range: $27-$30/hour

Bonus Potential: Up to 8% annually upon conversion after 6 months on contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing accounting team in Willoughby, Ohio. This is a newly created, 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity designed to support high-volume invoice processing while partnering closely with accounting leadership to improve processes and efficiencies. This role offers long-term growth potential, including future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices, approximately 30-50 per day, with accuracy and timeliness
• Support Accounts Payable operations and assist with gaps across the accounting function as needed
• Perform data analysis and reporting using Excel, including lookups and pivot tables
• Utilize ERP systems to manage invoice processing and workflow approvals (Infor Syteline/CSI preferred)
• Collaborate closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager to identify process improvements and efficiencies
• Adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced, evolving team environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience working within ERP systems; Infor Syteline/CSI experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through

• Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
