Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California SLP license (or eligibility) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY applicants with strong references encouraged
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Demonstrated skill in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
  • Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs
  • Develop, track, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine needs and monitor growth
  • Document sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for team-based goal planning
