Dental Hygienist – Monday–Thursday | Established Team | Patient-Focused Care

Ivy Creek Dental Care in Buford, GA is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our established team Monday through Thursday.

• 60-minute recare appointments

• 90-minute new patient appointments

Monday–Thursday schedule
Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with Fridays, weekends, and evenings free.

You'll be an essential part of the patient care team, serving as both a clinical provider and patient advocate . You'll have the opportunity to educate patients, build relationships, and provide the individualized care they need to achieve lifelong oral health.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Georgia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experienced and New Grads welcome to apply
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
