Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Nurse Manager - OR

Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 7a–3p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, Mon–Fri
No formal weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements (occasional questions may arise but rarely)

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active MI RN License
• 5 years of RN experience (required)
• 2 years of Operating Room experience (required)
• 1 year of nursing supervision experience in an acute care setting within the most recent two years (required)
• Previous management experience (highly preferred)
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• CNOR

Other Details:

• Reports to the Director; carries 24-hour responsibility for the management of nursing personnel, ancillary personnel, and patient care in the assigned area(s)
• Skills Checklist required, current within 1 year, pertinent to the Operating Room specialty
• Care setting: 161-bed acute care, not-for-profit hospital
• Charting system: Meditech
• Dress code: Business casual for meetings; OR scrubs provided for day-to-day operations
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed)
