Make a lasting impact on middle school students as a valued Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position seeks an experienced SLP-CCC to collaborate with a supportive team and help students in grades 6–8 develop crucial communication skills. You’ll find a rewarding, hands-on opportunity to work onsite, manage a manageable caseload, and contribute to student growth throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field
• Current FL State SLP License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Prior experience in a school-based setting, preferably with middle school students
• Ability to complete district background check, fingerprinting, and required credentialing promptly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students in grades 6–8
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized educational plans tailored to student goals
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and communication with staff and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Serve the needs of a caseload of approximately 60–65 students at one middle school location
