Outpatient Audiologist

At MaineGeneral Health, our Audiologists don't just perform hearing tests and fit hearing aids; they practice the full scope of their training in a dynamic outpatient setting serving patients across the lifespan. You'll see a wide variety of cases and have the opportunity to flex your clinical expertise truly.

Position: Outpatient Audiologist

Location: MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta, ME

Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours per week

$20,000 sign-on bonus potential for experienced Audiologists + $10,000 in relocation expenses!

Available to candidates with at least one year of experience

Must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week

Not available to current MaineGeneral employees or former employees separated for less than one year

$4,000 early acceptance incentive potential for new graduate Audiologists + $10,000 in relocation expenses!

Candidates are encouraged to apply at least 6 weeks before their graduation date; however, some exceptions may be made based on program needs and timing

Offer letters should be signed within 1 week of receipt

The incentive is paid in full in your first paycheck as an Audiologist

What You'll Do:

• Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Conduct vestibular testing, including ENG evaluations
• Perform ABR evaluations and other advanced diagnostic procedures
• Diagnose hearing and balance disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families
• Recommend and fit hearing aids and other assistive devices
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Document and coordinate care to ensure seamless patient experiences

What You Bring:

• Maine state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility)
• CCC-A preferred but not required
• Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills
• Passion for patient-centered care
• New graduates and experienced Audiologists are encouraged to apply

Compensation Information:

$44.31 - $77.54 USD Hourly

The salary range shown reflects the base salary for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations.
