Position: Director of Nursing (RN) - Emergency Services (ER)
Location: Florence, AL
Salary: Up to $130K + Benefits + $10k Sign-On Bonus

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Current Alabama RN License or eligibility to obtain Alabama licensure.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience within Emergency Services, Emergency Department (ED), or Emergency Room (ER) settings.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Experience with budgeting, financial management, resource allocation, and operational oversight in an acute care hospital environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting clinical and operational data to drive performance improvement initiatives.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
No disciplinary actions or restrictions on nursing licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Director, Assistant Director, Manager, or Senior Leadership experience within an Emergency Department.
Extensive Emergency Room (ER) leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Experience leading quality improvement, patient safety, throughput, and operational excellence initiatives.
Proven success managing departmental budgets, staffing plans, productivity, and performance metrics.
Experience with regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and emergency preparedness programs.
