Direct Support Professional

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at our program in Townsend, DE. Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour. Schedule: Thursday and Friday 3p-11p, Saturday 9a-9p. We are hiring immediately. No experience required – we provide paid training. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a valid driver's license. Verifiable high school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in a home health aide or school setting working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred. Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential. Responsibilities Create long-term impacts on individuals’ lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Facilitate daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry. Work under the supervision of the House Manager, including living area observation, residents’ responsiveness, inspection of living area, reports, and periodic meetings. Assist with daily and personal activities to enhance independence.
