Sr Import/Export Compliance Analyst

About This Role The Sr. Export/Import Compliance Analyst will proactively oversee all export compliance matters for Textron Unmanned Air Systems in Hunt Valley, MD. The role requires managing responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and working with program management, legal, contracts, and other staff. Provide proactive export compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security, and other functional areas Prepare and submit DDTC and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance Assist in the research and interpretation of export compliance regulations, agreements, manufacturing license agreements, and warehousing distribution agreements Determine applicability of ITAR exemptions, ECCNs and use of Commerce exceptions Collaborate with in-house attorneys and outside counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Support internal/external audits and investigations Track application status, maintain database of granted export approvals, satisfy record-keeping requirements, and prepare required reports Perform self-assessments Assist in maintaining up-to-date Export Compliance Policies, Procedures and Manuals Plan and conduct employee training Other duties as assigned in export classification, export/import compliance support, and product movement Provide backup support to the I/E team as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (international business or law is a plus) Minimum 8 years of ITAR compliance experience with progressively complex responsibilities; working knowledge of import and customs regulations and EAR required Prefer experience in government contracting and international trade compliance areas such as FCPA, Antiboycott, and OFAC Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance Position requires use of information subject to ITAR; applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR Location & Schedule Primary Location: US-Maryland-Hunt Valley Schedule: Full-time, First Shift Job Level: Individual Contributor Job Type: Experienced Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Relocation: Available Worksite: Onsite Benefits Flexible Work Schedules Education Assistance Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Career Development & Training Opportunities Wellness Program (including Fitness Reimbursement) Medical, Dental, Vision & 401(k) with Company Funding Paid Parental Leave Textron is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment to all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, disability, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Textron
