Fit Movement Physical Therapy & Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. The facility boasts state-of-the-art resources within a spacious 5,000 square foot setting, tailored to meet our clients' diverse therapy needs.

Work Environment

This onsite position offers a collaborative and engaging work environment, where you will closely work with a dynamic team consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The facility operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting a work-life balance that allows for professional growth while ensuring quality patient care. Our practice primarily caters to patients who are covered under private medical insurance, enabling a focused approach on their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Provide focused, one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure high-quality care and individualized attention.
• Utilize evidence-based methods to improve patients' range of motion, alleviate pain, and enhance overall mobility through various therapeutic techniques.
• Incorporate manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols tailored to each patient's specific needs to expedite recovery and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient services and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with healing outcomes and organizational standards.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with fellow healthcare professionals to support a multi-disciplinary approach to patient health and recovery.
• Motivate and educate patients about their rehabilitation processes, fostering a supportive environment that encourages questions and active participation in their treatment.
• Develop and oversee fitness and wellness programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices that enhance overall strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with a clean professional record.
• Strong expertise in orthopedic treatment modalities and manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional skills in developing, implementing, and executing various exercise protocols that cater to the unique needs of patients.
• Proficiency in the use of WebPT EMR Software to manage patient records and streamline clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, as it equips candidates with the necessary skills to address complex patient cases.
• Demonstrated success in applying innovative therapeutic approaches to achieve optimal patient outcomes in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
