Job Description

• Develop Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized treatment strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
• Deliver Effective Interventions: Implement evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and day-to-day activities
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, holistic care
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families therapy techniques to facilitate continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Adapt Treatment: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain momentum towards recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Continued education and postgraduate certifications encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
