Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager

Overview Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for an Assistant Vitamin Manager to help people discover the benefits of supplements and vitamins. The role involves educating and coaching customers toward a healthier lifestyle while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit. Order and maintain inventory controls, product quality, and supervise the Vitamin/HBA team. Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork. Lead a team to deliver the finest product quality, highest service level, and great customer experience. Provide guidance on vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products without prescribing. Recruit, hire, develop, mentor, and motivate the Vitamin team. Unload and sort store deliveries. Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age with at least 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience and leadership duties (or equivalent education and experience). Dependable and reliable with flexible scheduling, including night, weekend and holiday shifts. Outgoing, friendly personality; positive attitude; strong customer interaction skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive direction while maintaining a team environment. General housekeeping duties in the department; cleaning and dusting. Adherence to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations. Willingness to learn about new products and alternative health. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, stack and maneuver up to 50 lb. objects up to 2 feet of distance, move ladders with up to 5 lb. force up to 2 hours, maneuver a utility cart holding 20 lb. with up to 35 lb. force up to 2 hours, and walk up to 3 miles in an 8‑hour shift. Ability to perform other related duties as assigned. Pay Range $19.50 – $29.15 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications. Benefits Competitive pay. Sick time plan.
