The primary goal is to provide a structured, supportive space where students can focus on individual tasks and personal work. The preferred candidate will be responsible for accountability duties - such as weekly attendance, behavior, and grade monitoring - with proactive behavior management. Responsibilities Maintain an orderly and productive environment. Actively monitor student behavior to ensure compliance with school policies and minimize distractions. Perform accurate daily attendance checks and verify student locations via digital tracking systems. Conduct regular assignments and grade checks regarding student progress. Based on administrative criteria, ensure identified students are utilizing study hall time for schoolwork. Issue verbal warnings or formal referrals when necessary. Address disciplinary issues immediately to maintain a safe and conducive atmosphere. Utilize school-specific software to log attendance, check student progress, and document behavioral incidents. Act as a communication bridge between the study hall, the classroom, Student Support team, and administration regarding student behavior or academic updates. Required Qualifications High school diploma; some college credit. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate firmly yet fairly with teenagers. Proficiency with basic office technology and educational software. Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church. Preferred Qualifications Paraprofessional or substitute certification with the Regional Office of Education.
