Job Description

Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry department. You will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients, managing diagnoses such as heart failure, diabetes, hypertension, and assisting with post-operative recovery for hip and knee replacements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg/Tel unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and recovery plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH, Handle with Care
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting
