Sr Analyst Relations and Market Intelligence Manager

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for positioning ACI to key business influencers (KBI) such as industry analysts key research and payments consultants in order to raise product reputation and grow ACIs perception as an original innovator in the payments ecosystem.

He/she drives and manages internal and external market research programs that support the PM&M Commercial and Corporate functions e.g. segment and competitive analysis and key strategic initiatives market surveillance for better decision making competitor review.

Additionally he/she is required to build and develop a center of excellence for internal and external stakeholders to seek advice and information on key payments trends. He/she will lead all AR efforts by working with internal and external stakeholders and outside agencies to collaborate on establishing traditional and emerging AR & MI formats.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Owns ACIs standing with the analysts who shape payments buying decisions. Finds formats to position ACI the key segments and product solutions to key business increase product reputation and grow ACIs perception of an original innovator in the payments ecosystem.
Report & evaluation management: submissions RFIs and briefings for the reports and evaluations that influence deals. Pressure-test positioning and roadmap against analyst expectations
Drives internal and external market research & survey programs that support the PM&M Commercial and Corporate functions e.g. segment and competitive analysis and key strategic initiatives win & loss reports market surveillance for better decision making competitor review.
Analyst-as-reference: build ACIs standing with the AR firms to leverage them as credible third-party validators sales can point to.
Intelligence loop: feed analyst insight back into positioning roadmap and competitive intel. AR sits with PMM precisely because analysts buy the narrative first
Contribute analyst expertise and relevant content to consume in a variety of formats including white papers brochures social media Web pages online events and more

Qualifications (Education Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
Bachelors Degree in related field necessary; Masters Degree preferred
8 years payments industry knowledge required
Excellent writing analytical and presentation skills
Up to date with latest industry trends and keeping internal stakeholders informed.
Optimizes best practices in market and analysis measurement.
Negotiate intelligibly at a cross-functional level with excellent communication skills for collaboration
Solid knowledge of various market intelligence tools
Strong Leadership skills that commensurate with the scope of responsibilities
Proven ability to effectively engage with a wide variety of internal audiences and educate customers vendors and partners appropriately.

Competencies
Payments Industry and relevant research experience necessary.
Strong KBI network.

Work Environment:
Standard work environment WFH optional
Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
25% travel required.
