The Position The Aquatics Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, managing the instructor team, conducting initial and ongoing training, and engaging in customer conversations as needed. The role also involves teaching swimming lessons when required and maintaining accurate records of instructor certifications and ongoing competency development. Typical Responsibilities Interview, hire, onboard, and manage employees to maintain smooth daily aquatics and service operations. Create employee schedules and pool lesson schedules. Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents. Teach and lead swimming lessons as required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of customer service and/or management experience. Experience in swimming and fitness teaching or management; a specialist aquatics qualification is desirable but not required. Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid certifications, which may be obtained during training. Experience working with preschool and elementary‑aged children or a demonstrated ability to build comfort with parents.
