Automation Engineer, SSD-FC Launch

Salary: $90,000 - 112,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field, or 2+ years of PLC programming or automation engineering experience.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field, or 2+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis experience in a process or production environment.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field, or 2+ years of experience with robotics work cells and control systems.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field, or 2+ years of experience with electrical theory, robotics, control components, and automated equipment.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field, or 2+ years of experience with Ladder Logic and structured programming on Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys PLCs.
• Preferred experience includes HMI and control network components, including maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and design.
• Preferred experience includes identifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting motor controls such as motor starters, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components.
• Preferred experience includes preventive maintenance, industrial electrical systems, industrial controls, and industrial electronics and robotics.
• Preferred experience includes interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Preferred experience includes programming with RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, FT View, and other controls software platforms.

• We serve as the site expert for maintaining the automation systems that are critical to operations.
• We maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and Profibus, as well as motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems.
• We monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance and operations teams to resolve system performance issues and provide analysis across operations.
• We provide first-level escalation support for site technicians, both on site and remotely.
• We perform and analyze building system assessments to improve material handling system performance.
• We troubleshoot complex control systems, analyze performance metrics, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment systems and implement innovative projects.
