Senior Accountant

Senior Accounting ManagerWe are seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage all accounting, tax, finance, and administrative functions for a multi-entity organization. This role oversees financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and operational accounting while partnering closely with executive leadership to support strategic and day-to-day business decisions.ResponsibilitiesOversee all general accounting activities including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, fixed and intangible assets, intercompany/inter-entity accounting, and general ledger maintenanceLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; review balance sheets, income statements, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and consolidated reporting packagesSupervise cash flow forecasting and review final paymentsMaintain, enhance, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and complianceProvide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, new accounting standards, GAAP/IFRS differences, leases, long-term contracts, and business initiativesManage external auditors and tax advisors, including audit planning, PBC submissions, issue resolution, and tax provision and return processesOversee U.S. income tax compliance, sales and use tax, property and inventory taxes, and foreign VAT/GST filingsSupport executive leadership with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and financial trend analysisLead ERP implementation and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business needs and user adoptionManage, develop, and mentor accounting staff, including performance management, training, and resource planningCollaborate cross-functionally with IT and HR leadership on administrative and operational initiativesParticipate in special projects and company initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred5–7 years of combined public accounting and private industry experience within multi-entity organizationsPrior people-management experience requiredStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and financial reportingExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner at all levelsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeAbility to handle highly confidential information with discretion
