Medical Receptionist

Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219

Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (Start time may vary slightly based on provider schedule)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks with a strong possibility of extension

Pay Range: $20$22/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in/check out patients while providing exceptional customer service.
• Schedule patient appointments, follow-up visits, diagnostic testing, procedures, and surgeries using the Practice Management System.
• Perform patient registration, verify demographic and insurance information, and update patient records.
• Verify insurance eligibility, referrals, and obtain pre-authorizations/pre-certifications when required.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 13 years of customer service or medical receptionist experience.
• Experience with patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and front desk operations.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance coverage, referrals, and pre-certification processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and general office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Epic EMR experience.
• Experience in a physician office, specialty clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting.
