Staff NurseThe Urbandale Clinic is seeking a 60% Staff Nurse in our Urbandale Infusion Suite. The Staff Nurse is charged with the responsibilities of assessing patients' nursing care needs, evaluating the effectiveness of care provided, integrating nursing theory and research into clinical practices, and ensuring patient care standards are met.This position comes with the University of Iowa's generous, full benefit package including double-match retirement, paid vacation, and sick leave, and much more! Paid drive time.Location: Urbandale, IAPay Grade: 52 - $35,589- $65,283 at 60% (based on years of experienceEducationAn Associate's Degree in Nursing, a Diploma in Nursing, a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN), Professional Masters of Nursing and Healthcare Practice (MNHP), MSN/Clinical Nurse Leader or a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN, MA) is required.Required QualificationsCurrent license to practice in the state of Iowa by the time of hireDriver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety StandardsExcellent written and verbal communication skills are required.Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with patients/families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members as demonstrated through written and verbal interactions.General computer skills are required.Current course completion card in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider by the American Heart AssociationDesired QualificationsBaccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Masters Degree in Nursing is highly desired.If Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is not yet obtained, active enrollment in a BSN program is desirable.1-3 years of general nursing experience.Proficiency with IV access and phlebotomy within adult and pediatric populationsExperience with biologic infusions.Ambulatory nursing care experience, including telephone triage experience in the outpatient setting.Previous pediatric nursing care experience is desiredPrevious Epic experienceIn order to be considered, applicants must upload resume (under submission relevant materials) that clearly address how they meet the listed required and desired qualifications of this position.Job openings are posted for a minimum of 7 calendar days.
