Salary Range: $22.03 - $27.54* Overview Position: Restaurant Server (Waitstaff) at Saks Global. The role involves delivering warm, sophisticated hospitality, deep menu knowledge, and flawless table service in a luxury dining environment. Responsibilities Luxury Guest Service & Order Execution: Manage table pacing and interact with guests in a highly attentive, professional, and sophisticated manner; provide comprehensive menu knowledge and describe dishes, specials, dietary restrictions; offer tailored beverage pairings and execute technical beverage service. Station Operations & Maintenance: Execute all pre‑shift, post‑shift, daily, and weekly side‑work duties; set up and manage table settings following brand guidelines; clean, sanitize, and maintain server workstations and dining areas. Physical Setup: Assist with the physical mechanics of the dining room, moving or lifting service objects such as tables, chairs, and highchairs safely. Financial Oversight & Professional Standards: Handle all guest transactions, manage split checks and payment methods within the POS system; adhere to accounting procedures; maintain personal hygiene and presentation standards. Team Synergy & Scheduling: Participate in pre‑shift meetings; review daily covers, VIP reservations, and updates; arrive on time, dressed properly, and with required tools; accurately punch in/out; coordinate meal breaks and shift changes; manage time‑off requests proactively. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Proven experience in a high‑end, premium, or upscale food and beverage environment with strict table service guidelines. Thorough knowledge of upscale order of service, fine dining table setups, and culinary/beverage terminology. Exceptional customer service and problem‑solving skills with ability to interface graciously with premium clientele. Self‑motivated, highly organized, detail‑oriented, and a champion of collaborative teamwork. Physical Requirements Significant physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying up to 35pounds.
