Job description: V. Freitas Law, PLLC is small, well-established family law firm practicing in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties. Our matters include but are not limited to: high-asset divorce cases, child custody disputes and child support issues, domestic violence protection orders, and we ensure our clients receive practical, competent, and consistent legal support.
Summary:
We are seeking knowledgeable attorneys and/or legal teams to join V. Freitas Law. Any combination of experienced attorneys looking for a change, knowledgeable attorneys looking to gain experience, or a newer attorneys with a knowledgeable team, are welcome to apply.
Work Location: Seattle, WA - Possibility of Remote/hybrid work – details to be discussed during interview process.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on family law matters.
Draft legal documents, including petitions and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines efficiently.
Ability to work with other legal professionals to enhance case strategies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: DOE, but $110,000.00 per year minimum.

Requirements:
Legal Practice: 1 year of licensed practice
License/Certification: Washington State Bar license in good standing
Preferential Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
Deadline and detail oriented
Knowledge of local court rules and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
Ability to use/learn various forms of technology and software
