Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – In-Home Pediatric ABA Therapy $22.00–$28.00 per hour | Part-time or full-time — afternoon, evening, and weekend cases | In-home, serving Mount Airy, Dobson, Pilot Mountain, Elkin, and King, NC Blossom ABA Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — or an exam‑ready candidate who has completed the 40‑hour RBT training and has hands‑on ABA experience — to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder, under the supervision of a licensed BCBA. This caseload includes clients who engage in aggressive or challenging behavior — we’re looking for a tech with the field experience and composure to implement behavior intervention plans confidently. What You’ll Do Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions to children with autism in home and community settings Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with consistency and professionalism Run skill acquisition programs for communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills Collect accurate behavioral data and document client progress on time Respond to aggressive and challenging behavior using approved, evidence‑based procedures Collaborate with families and the clinical team to keep treatment consistent across caregivers Requirements — Please Apply Only If These Describe You Active RBT certification through the BACB, or completed 40‑hour RBT training and ready to sit for the exam Hands‑on experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism (direct 1:1 experience, not observation only) Experience implementing behavior intervention plans — including with clients who engage in aggressive or challenging behavior — strongly preferred and paid accordingly Weekday afternoon/evening availability; weekend availability is a plus Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license — sessions are in client homes across Mount Airy, Dobson, Pilot Mountain, Elkin, and King High school diploma or equivalent Able to complete background clearances required for working with children Physically able to sit on the floor, kneel, move quickly, and safely respond to challenging behavior Spanish‑speaking candidates are a plus (not required) Pay and perks $22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and certification status — experience with challenging behavior earns the top of the range Flexible scheduling: part‑time or full‑time, with afternoon, evening, and weekend cases available Consistent caseloads with local client placements to keep drive time short Structured, reliable BCBA supervision and ongoing clinical mentorship Employee referral bonus program Clear advancement pathway in ABA, including support toward BCBA certification About Blossom ABA Therapy Blossom ABA Therapy is a growing ABA provider serving families across North Carolina.
