As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Plymouth, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned areas, roadways, facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support public-facing operations by assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions, information, and security-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
