We are seeking a Director of Licensing to lead and expand our licensing portfolio while helping identify the next major cultural moments before they hit the mainstream. The Opportunity This is a highly visible leadership role for a licensing professional who lives and breathes pop culture, entertainment, consumer trends, and brand partnerships . The ideal candidate is not only experienced in licensing negotiations and portfolio management but is actively connected to what consumers are engaging with right now—from streaming content and social media trends to emerging entertainment franchises, gaming properties, anime, music, influencers, and lifestyle brands. You will: Own and grow H.E.R. Accessories' licensing portfolio across multiple product categories Identify and secure license opportunities tied to emerging pop culture, entertainment, and consumer trends Stay ahead of cultural moments and recognize the next high-growth licensing opportunities before they peak Lead the full lifecycle of licensing deals, from sourcing and negotiation through execution and renewal Manage key relationships with licensors, including major global brands and entertainment companies Collaborate closely with product development, sales, marketing, and operations teams to bring licensed products to market successfully Lead and mentor a small licensing team, including a Licensing Coordinator Serve as the internal expert on licensing trends, consumer behavior, and emerging brand opportunities What We're Looking For Required Experience: Proven success leading licensing programs within consumer products, fashion, accessories, beauty, entertainment, toys, collectibles, or related industries Strong experience negotiating and managing complex licensing agreements Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and secure new licensing opportunities Experience building and managing relationships with licensors, agents, and brand owners Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate financial and strategic opportunities Highly Preferred Current and relevant experience working with pop culture, entertainment, gaming, anime, streaming, celebrity, influencer, music, or youth lifestyle brands Deep knowledge of today's licensing landscape and the properties driving consumer demand Strong understanding of how social media, digital communities, and cultural trends influence product sales and licensing opportunities Proven ability to spot emerging trends and translate them into revenue-generating partnerships Existing relationships within the entertainment and licensing ecosystem Applicants must have current licensing experience tied to pop culture, entertainment, gaming, anime, streaming content, music, influencers, or other consumer-driven cultural brands. Candidates whose licensing experience is limited to corporate, industrial, or non-consumer-facing brands may not be considered.
