As an Automotive Service Technician at Team Kia of El Cajon, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers’ vehicles. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technician who is passionate about the automotive industry and committed to delivering exceptional service with the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

This high-volume dealership environment offers an experienced flat-rate technician the opportunity to maximize productivity and earnings, with the potential for consistent, high-volume hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair various automotive issues, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems.
2. Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
4. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
2. minimum 3 years of flat rate experience. 
3. ASE certification is preferred, but not necessary. 
4. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
9. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
