Job Full Description

A company in Carrollton is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist . This position is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.

MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTING

Responsibilities:

Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) , including invoices and vendor payments
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) , including invoicing, payment posting, and collections
Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
Enter financial data accurately into accounting software
Communicate professionally with vendors and customers regarding account inquiries
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required
Strong experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bookkeeping
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in Accounting preferred)
