Accounting Specialist

Job Full Description

A company in Carrollton is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist . This position is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.


MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTING

Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) , including invoices and vendor payments
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) , including invoicing, payment posting, and collections
• Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
• Enter financial data accurately into accounting software
• Communicate professionally with vendors and customers regarding account inquiries
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required
• Strong experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bookkeeping
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in Accounting preferred)

• Location: Carrollton, GA
• Pay : $18.00
